Dear friends and fans,
If you are reading this, first know that we love you. Tea Sama and I do not take your love and friendship for granted. We did not leave because of you, we left for you.
For you see, the gears of war keep turning. The Locust have emerged once again, this time in remastered HD graphics, and the planet needs us. All who are able to wield a weapon have been called upon to take up arms and face this threat to our way of life head on, once again. Should you not hear from us after this, it is because we have fallen in (love with) the fight of this (console) generation.
We do this because we love you. We do this for future generations, that they may still have a form of civilization to grow up in. To those who support us, our friends, our family, the man who maintains the dedicated servers, we thank you and love you. Know that our time away from you is not time ill served. It is necessary and required.
Should you be a person who simply wants to stand on the sidelines and let us do the work that protects you, know that though you may be Stranded, we do this for you as well and will gladly welcome you with open arms should you enlist.
